Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a proactive person to join our team to lead the company from a financial perspective. You will work alongside other C-Suite team members and take ownership of all company fiscal and regulatory matters. If you have experience as a Financial Controller, join us.

Responsabilities

  • Financial reporting: build and update RatedPower’s monthly financial statements.
  • Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  • Financial Planning: Update RatedPower’s financial projections based on new historical data. Design and implement interdepartmental initiatives to maximize RatedPower’s cash runway.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, collections and payments to external providers. Continuously search for process improvements and define product specs to further automate RatedPower’s financial processes.
  • Investor relations: With the help of RatedPower’s founders, update pitch decks, VC intros, term sheet negotiations, legal documents.
  • Assist with high-level decisions about policy and strategy, advising on long-term business and financial planning.
  • Assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Supervise financial reporting and budgeting team.
  • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities.
  • Reviewing all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures.

Required skills

  • Degree in finance, actuarial science, accounting or business administration.
  • 2-6 years of experience in finance.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English with the ability to speak, read, and write in both languages without limitations or assistance.
  • Experience in a senior management position.
  • Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting.
  • Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Experience with budget management and public accounting.
  • Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.
  • Ability to plan personal workload effectively and delegate.
