Policy officer, solar energy at Directorate-General for Energy of the European Commission

Ignacio Asenjo is policy officer in charge of solar energy in the Renewable Energy unit of the Directorate-General for Energy of the European Commission. In previous positions in the Commission, he worked on energy infrastructure, energy research and managed EU international energy relations in the EU delegations in Beijing and Brasilia. He is a graduate of Sciences-Po Paris and of the College of Europe in Bruges.
