RatedPower has rebranded to accelerate Smart energy flow

We’re excited to announce that RatedPower, part of the Enverus group, has rebranded. Our solar design software, formerly pvDesign, will now be called RatedPower. This means that both the company and product will now be known as RatedPower.

Our everlasting purpose behind the brand remains the same: to power global quality of life by making solar the primary energy source. We will continue to deliver best-in-class solar plant design and engineering solutions to speed up the world’s transition to clean energy. 

Combining our industry-leading software with Enverus’ in-depth market intelligence, we make building cost-effective, high-performance hybrid PV plants more straightforward than ever.

How we got here

This rebrand is the next step in our journey with Enverus, energy’s largest and most trusted SaaS platform, that creates intelligent connections that uncover insights and opportunities to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Enverus acquired RatedPower in November 2022 to create a truly global brand. But even before this acquisition, our two companies were already industry pioneers in our segments.

• Since its first release in 2017, our platform (formerly pvDesign) has been used to plan over 42,000 projects and produce 3.35 terawatts of power. This has directly impacted 9 million households and reduced carbon emissions by over 12 million tons.

• Enverus’ energy-dedicated SaaS platforms have been around even longer since 1999. It has delivered real-time access to benchmark cost, revenue data, and insights sourced from partnerships with 98% of US energy producers and over 35,000 suppliers. 

Given our complementary strengths, it became clear that uniting them enhanced the strengths of both brands, creating a more comprehensive and streamlined experience for customers. As one company, we give solar engineers unprecedented speed and accuracy to build more efficient, profitable, and sustainable projects.

Despite our mission remaining steadfast, the rebrand is an opportunity to emphasize recent and future advancements of the RatedPower platform.
