Unit C1, Renewables and Energy System Integration Policy at the European Commission
Marta Andres is legal and policy officer in the Renewable energy unit of the Directorate-General for Energy of the European Commission. In this role, she has worked on several legislative initiatives, in particular the revision of the Renewable Energy Directive. In previous positions in the Commission, she worked on competition matters in the Directorate-General for Competition, with a focus on merger control. She has previously worked as a lawyer in the Spanish law firm Uría Menéndez and as a teaching assistant at the College of Europe in Bruges.
